Kim Yong-Sun is best known by as Solar, a South Korean singer. She is the leader of girl group MAMAMOO, which debuted in 2014.
Born and raised in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, South Korea, with parents and elder sister, Yong-Hee. She graduated from Hanyang Women's University with a degree in Korean History. She originally wanted to be a Flight Attendant, however Rainbow Bridge Music discovered her after singing for a free gift.
