SISTAR (씨스타) first debuted on June 4th, 2010, with song "Push Push" on Music Bank. Their first single released on June, 3rd 2010, a day before their debut stage. The group decide to end their group activities in the end of May, 2017, after released and did a week-length promotion of their last single "LONELY".
SISTAR also known as "Queens of Summer", because of their songs had energetic vibes that represent summer. SISTAR received multiple all-kill on Korean music charts since their debut. Before they debuted on stage, SISTAR had debut on photoshoot session on Céci Magazine. So far they had done a lot of CFs, Photoshoots as well as Variety programs. They had been nominated for more than 60 nominations in music awards/programs and won more than 40 of them. Their last single "LONELY" become their 9th consecutive #1 single on Gaon chart, also being the only girl group to get this.
SISTAR's name means Sistar and Star. They are meant to be sisters in the entertainment business and become big stars. Spawning a very bright colorful and cheery concept, they also give the sexy-healthy image of girlgroup. All four of the girls are very lanky have attractive bodies and are said to have great dance as well as vocal skills.
