Peaberry

Peaberry (ピーベリー) is a new Hello! Project unit consisting of Wada Ayaka from S/mileage and Sayashi Riho from Morning Musume. The group was first formed at Hello! Project Tanjou 15th Anniversary Live Summer 2012 ~Kitakore Natsu no Fan Matsuri!~.

Peaberry was formed in July 2012 when it was announced that they would perform the original song Cabbage Hakusho at Hello! Project Tanjou 15th Anniversary Live Summer 2012 ~Wakuwaku Natsu no Fan Matsuri!~ and Hello! Project Tanjou 15th Anniversary Live Summer 2012 ~Kitakore Natsu no Fan Matsuri!~. They were formed alongside the group DIY♡ to be part of Hello! SATOYAMA Life, a movement that aims to remind Japan of their beautiful countrysides and the need to conserve them. The group was named after a type of bean found in the coffee plant.
