Miku was born on October 21, in Kumamoto Prefecture which is in the center of [ii]Kyūshū, the southernmost of the four major Japanese islands. It is bordered by the Ariake inland sea and the Amakusa archipelago to the west, Fukuoka Prefecture and Ōita Prefecture to the north, Miyazaki Prefecture to the east, and Kagoshima Prefecture to the south. Mt. Aso (1592 m), an extensive active volcano, is in the east of Kumamoto Prefecture. This volcano is located at the center of the Aso caldera.
When Miku was a child she loved to sing and found any opportunity she could, she attended 3 years of vocal school. Miku and two other girls won the [iv]2012 Super Idol Auditions, and earned the right to be in the Idol Trio “lil Cumin”. Miku still works as an Idol with special appearances at the [v]Noodol Café which is located in Akihabara. In 2013, while working in a Maid Café she decided she wanted a band, so she started BAND-MAID. Miku is known best by her cute “Idol” appearance sporting her bouncy Twin Tails and Red Rose. In Band-Maid® Miku broke from her Idol past, replacing it with hard hitting JRock vocals.
But she didn’t shed her cute appearance, instead she morphed it with attitude creating a cute, but deadly combination. When she’s not turning men’s heads everywhere and thrashing on stage with BAND-MAID, Miku can be found cheerfully antagonizing the other girls of Band-Maid while filming selfie vines. One of Miku’s interests is Horse Racing, which she follows intensely, even buying horse racing papers and tweeting the outcomes of races she bets on. When Akane asked what Miku wanted on her Birthday cake, to Akane's surprise Miku answered [vi]“Turfy-kun of JRA character!!” (JRA: Japan (horse) Racing Association).
