Lee Hi (이하이) is a new artist under YG Entertainment. She gained recognition for placing 2nd on the South Korean reality TV competition show "K-pop Star".

Lee Hi is YG’s the first female teenage solo artist. Lee Hi’s first appearance to the world was through K-POP Star, SBS’s survival auditioning program. There she captured the attention of YG’s Yang Hyun Suk with her born talents, and with the invitation from him, she joined YG in 2012. Her age did not matter on the stage as her powerful emotions and soul filled the crowd. That's why, even before her debut, Lee Hi earned many names like ‘the musical prodigy,’ and ‘the great artist trapped in a child’s body. Her debut single, ‘1,2,3,4,’ is expected to be released in October, 2012. The single will have the groove rhythm and powerful sound of YG producer CHOICE 37 and LYDIA PAEK and will have the beautiful lyrics of MASTA WU.
