Hong Jin Young is a female Korean trot singer and entertainer born August 9, 1985 in Gwangju, South Korea. She made her debut with the short lived girl group SWAN in 2007 and debuted in 2009 as a soloist with the single "Love Battery". She is currently signed under Music K Entertainment and has been with them since 2012. Her first debut in the entertainment industry was a small role in the film "Who Slept with Her?" (2006) and the drama "Yeon Gaesomun" (2006).
Jin Young is a graduate of Chosun University with a doctral degree in Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Trade program.
