permalink Too bad I can't see your picture. After you describing it, I'm picturing something really nice. :)

It's btw, not that I don't want to share recipes, but I most of the time eat no desserts. :RBundecided:

But to name some great desserts:
I love my mom's fruit salad, non-alcoholic with all kinds of fresh fruit. :RBheart:

We also have this kind of tradition, whenever we eat gourmet (like with Christmas and Easter or any other special days) we eat banana flambe for dessert. You make it like this and at our home we eat this with chocolat sauce on top of it. :drool:

And of course ice cream is a great option too. :RBstickout:

They come in different flavors e.i. Coconut, mango, strawberry, bean... I don't know the rest. LOL.

It's pretty delicious. I'm not sure what ingredients they put in it though. :]

I had the coconut one. YUM. It had coconut milk, ice, tapioca pearls, and some flavor powder? It costs $3-4 for one. Gee. I'm hungry.

Caramel Filled Chocolate Cookies

INGREDIENTS

* 1 cup butter, softened
* 1 cup white sugar
* 1 cup packed brown sugar
* 2 eggs
* 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
* 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 cup chopped walnuts
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 48 chocolate-covered caramel candies

DIRECTIONS

1. Beat butter until creamy. Gradually beat in white sugar and brown sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda, and cocoa. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in 1/2 cup walnuts. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
3. Combine remaining 1/2 cup nuts with the 1 tablespoon sugar. Divide the dough into 4 parts. Work with one part at a time, leaving the remainder in the refrigerator until needed. Divide each part into 12 pieces. Quickly press each piece of dough around a chocolate covered caramel. Roll into a ball. Dip the tops into the sugar mixture. Place sugar side up, 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets.
4. Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Let cool for 3 to 4 minutes on the baking sheets before removing to wire racks to cool completely.

I gots tons of recipes.

Have some for lemon creme cheese cookies (from northpole.com, tried it a few times and have verified it as most delicious.)

3/4 cup butter, room temperature
1 (3 ounces) package cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1 Tablespoon lemon zest
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 cups cake flour
1 cup chopped pecans

Cream together butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar and beat hard. Stir in vanilla, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Add flour, mixing well. Stir in nuts. Push small amount from spoon onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until delicate brown. While hot, roll in powdered sugar.

Notes: Pecans are optional, for more lemon flavor, increase the lemon juice to 3 teaspoons, and/or 1.5 tablespoons of zest.

"Whilst two days back you were enthralled to try $25,000 Frozen Haute Chocolate by New York based Serendipity3 but little was you aware that the Dessert shop would earn a black spot to its name and would be shutdown. The store that made up to Guinness world record for the category of world’s most expensive dessert doesn’t exist any more as it became the bait of the second inspection falling within a month. But Why? Hold me as the reason is quite stomach-turning; an inspector claims to find a live mouse, mouse droppings, flies and around 100 live cockroaches within the eatery. Isn’t it shocking? But can’t help!"

permalink One of the deserts that I like a great deal is apple pie. I do not have a favorite recipie because I usually buy it in the restaurant. I have tried to make it myself. Unfortunately I have not found a crust that I like. So I buy the crusts from the store and use them.

The filling that I use is one cup sugar a four large apples slices. There get a couple dashes of cinnamon. I usually like to allow this to sit in the fridge for a while so it get all nice and sweet.
