permalink I'm a Pokemon nerd. I have almost all the games. On Pearl, I have about 8 level 100s and I'm working towards all lvl 100s and a complete Pokedex. Who has played Pokemon? (All you over-18s out there, don't sit there thinking "It's a kids' game!" My parents played Pokemon red and blue when my mother was pregnant with me!)

permalink I've loved Pokemon ever since it cam out in America :) I've played Pokemon Ruby,Emerald, Diamond, Dungeon, Soul Silver, Stadium, Hey you, Pikachu,Fire Red and tons more! Haha I don't think I'll ever grow out of the games~ :giggle: My parents also say it's childish but I can't help it! I used to watch the shows but they've really gone to far and now it's just booooooring :RBundecided: Love the Pokemon games though :lovec:

I agree, I don't really like the show anymore...and I don't know about black and white version but the games are awesome. Although Black and White seem a bit...different... :RBconfused:

permalink I love love love Pokemon! I remember way back when there was Pokemon Blue, Red, and Yellow on the Gameboy color! I have almost all the Pokemon games so far. :) My favorite pokemon is a tossup between Charizard, Mudkip, Lucario and Squirtle.

I agree that the show is really boring now but I love the older seasons; I still have them on video tape so I watch them when I'm bored!

permalink I love Pokemon. Always have and always will. I slip in and out of obsession with Pokemon. Right now, however, I haven't been playing as much as I used to. It's gotten pretty boring for me, since I finished playing Pokemon HeartGold for now. I might end up playing one of my old GBA games if I get bored.

I started playing with Pokemon Silver. It was my first Pokemon game, and I loved it. I wasn't any good at it, though. XD Now, however...I still suck at Pokemon. XD I don't play it for the strategy so much as the memories. I've owned games from all the generations, and I've been playing since I was about six years old, so Pokemon holds a special place in my heart. <3

Even though I don't play anymore, I'm more than happy to challenge someone. Send a message my way if you want to battle. :P Be warned: I use an entirely uber team, since I'm nooby like that. XD

permalink I've played Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, EMerald, Pearl, Platinum, Hey You! Pikachu, Pokemon STadium, Pokemon STadium 2, Dungeon (Red), and can't wait to play Black. I don't see why people say Pokemon is for kids; I see ADULTS play it all the time.

permalink I've been into Pokemon for like 10 years now. I turn 17 this year. i started the games late though. i played emerald first back in 2006. then i got diamond, then platinum, then soulsilver. now i have both Black and white. i finished white in 3 days. it was actually pretty easy. my favorite pokemon would have to be mewtwo. it is a beast. it can completely OHKO of at the most, if you have the right stats, 2HKO your entire team.

permalink I don't see just playing the Nintendo video game as being a nerd. It's still one of the best games for Nintendo handhold game devices out there right now and there are alot of people of all ages who play it. Myabe you would be a nerd for playing the card game as an adult though.... My brother and I grew up with the show as we were kids when the english dub first started being aired outside of Japan. And I know that kids nowa days really like the newer Pokemon series too. It's a sentimentle thing I think. :)

permalink pokemon all the way, although the series has died a bit, lost a bit of humour since the end of the Johto series. it was still good in the hoenn and sinnoh series simply because of brock and his quest for love

and one more thing, i've played every pokemon game (blue/red/yellow, gold/silver/crystal, ruby/sapphire/emerald, pearl/diamond/platinum, black & white), its still good after 10+ so years!! :)
