Writer of the TV anime series "Gintama", Akatsuki Yamatoya, wins the annual Arlington Cup with his three year old horse Just A Way.
is also known for writing other animes such as Soul Eater
. But now he is known for the win his horse, Just A Way
, pulled off with his jockey, Yuichi Fukunaga
, in 1:36:30
The track ran is the mile Hashin track
which is situated in Takarazuka, Hyogo.
To celebrate his victory, Akatsuki Yamatoya
, poses with, Yuichi Fukunaga
, and a Gintama "explosive device" used as a joke in the anime.
The story behind the joke, in the anime, is that the main protagonist, Gintoki, faces amnesia and finds himself to "have" a job in a factory assembling weird looking toys called, Just A Ways, which oddly turn out to be secret explosives for terrorists. Just A Ways appear throughout the anime as a joke from that episode.
To get this joke, you must watch the anime.
