Former Morning Musume member Fujimoto Miki (26) has revealed she is pregnant with her first child.
In an update to her official blog on the 13th, she wrote that she's been "blessed with a new life" growing inside her. "It's a precious new life. I'm grateful to this little baby who's come to be with us," she said of the joy shared between herself and husband Shoji Tomoharu (35).
Though Fujimoto was meant to perform with Morning Musume revival unit Dream Morning Musume on their upcoming nationwide tour this fall, she's withdrawn from the concert tour due to her pregnancy. She will tentatively continue her other activities while remaining conscientious of her health in the coming months.
