Rainie Yang Finally Won At The Golden Bell Awards
Hard work has finally paid off for Rainie Yang after her last disappointing lost in 2008 where she was nominated for "Why Why Love". This year's 45th Golden Bell Awards ceremony was held in Dr. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall and Rainie Yang won the award for Best Drama Series Leading Actress title in her role "Hi My Sweet Heart" which also starred Show Luo.

It was a huge shock to the actress as she did not expect this win at all therefore, she did not prepare any award acceptance speech. She beat out all other nominees such as "Bling Day's" Bianca Bai, "Da Ai TV- Dawn's" Francesca Kao, “The Year of Happiness and Love’s” Amber Kuo and and “Year of the Rain’s” Jian Man Shu.

On acceptance of her award, she specially thanked Show Luo (Xiao Zhu) and Angie Cai (director) for giving her the opportunity to star in idol dramas. She said sobbing on stage, "To win, I have to thank my good partner and buddy Show Luo." She left the stage still in disbelief and speechless.

According to Judge Cai Kuo Rong, drama female lead nominees Rainie Yang and Amber Kuo were the most discussed candidates by the judges, Rainie won over because of better transition of the interpreted role, able to see her transforming from her “Princess of Cuteness” image.
