Kenshi Yonezu will be providing the theme song for the upcoming anime film "Children of the Sea".

The singer's new song is titled "Umi no Yurei". This will be Yonezu's first time providing a solo song for an anime film, though he did collaborate with DAOKO on the smash hit "Uchiage Hanabi" which was use in the film "Uchiage Hanabi, Shita kara Miru ka? Yoko Kara Miru ka?".

When announcing his involvement in the movie, Yonezu said that he was a fan of the manga series it is based on when it was originally released. He expressed excitement that he will be providing music for a series that he admires.
