FANTASTICS' Shota Nakao Dies Of Stomach Cancer

Shota Nakao, a member of the EXILE TRIBE and its group FANTASTICS, has passed away.

Nakao died on the morning of July 6. LDH announced his passing through its official website on July 8.

The performer had been battling stomach cancer since the end of last year. He paused his activities in March to focus on treatment for the disease.

A funeral will be held for Nakao's family, members of FANTASTICS, and other LDH staff members. A separate gathering will be held for fans to mourn the loss.

FANTASTICS was formed at the end of 2016. Nakao was one of five EXPG performers selected to join the group upon its formation.
