Cheeky Parade To Disband In July

Idol group Cheeky Parade will be disbanding on July 31.

The group announced its disbandment through its official website. A reason for the disbandment was not immediately given.

Comments released by the group's member implied that they decided to go their separate ways to follow their individual dreams.

Cheeky Parade's line up has been in flux for years. Marin Yamamoto and Mariya Suzuki have been on hiatus from the group since 2016 when they moved to Los Angeles to study abroad. In 2017, two other members, Seran Mirozogi and Momoka Kadokari, both left the group.

For its final live, all 7 members of Cheeky parade, including the 2 who are on hiatus, will be participating in the concert. Details about the live will be released at a later date.

This is the 2nd group from iDOL Street to disband this year. GEM disbanded on March 31, 2018.

Yeah.. according to my friend, she just can't get into any iDOL STREET groups because of their shaky management - groups are constantly on hiatus, huge lack of promotion, etc. So this seems about right.

Completely devastated that another group is gone, but I wish these girls luck since they did say they wanted to do solo activities.
