Gen Hoshino To Provide 2 Songs For Upcoming Doraemon Film

Gen Hoshino will be providing the theme song and an insert song for the upcoming Doraemon film "Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima".

A trailer for the movie was released on December 1. Hoshino's insert song "Koko ni Inai Anata e" is used in the video, giving fans a first listen of his new song.

No details, including the title, have been released for the film's theme song.

"I am grateful that I can participate in the long history of "Doraemon" as a musician...I'm looking forward to making [the theme song and insert song] public for my fans," Hoshino said.

This will be the first time in the series' 38-year history that an artist will be providing 2 songs for a movie.

"Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Takarajima" will be released on March 3. Check out the trailer below:
