KinKi Kids' Tsuyoshi Domoto Returns To The Stage After 4 Month Hiatus

KinKi Kids member Tsuyoshi Domoto has returned the stage to perform for the first time in 4 months.

The idol was hospitalized in June 2017 after experiencing sudden deafness in his left ear. Since then, Domoto has been unable to perform at concerts or participate in group activities.

On October 29, KinKi Kids participated in the music festival "TV Asahi Dream Festival 2017". The audience was surprised when both members of the group came out for the performance.

Domoto appeared on stage wearing a hat and headphones on over top. The sound in the left ear was not on during the performance.

"When you become hard of hearing, your other sense compensate for the loss of hearing. It can actually get pretty tiring. I was hesitant about coming on stage...but my doctor told me that getting back into the motion of my music activities would be good for me," Domoto told the audience.

KinKi Kids performed an 8-song set for its concert at the festival. A 6 hour broadcast of the festival will air in January.
