Flower's Shuuka Fujii Puts Performing On Hold Due To Spinal Injury

Flower member Shuuka Fujii will not be performing for an undetermined amount of time due to an injury in her spine.

Fujii announced her decision through Flower's official website.

The singer first began experiencing pain 3 years ago, but it became more acute this summer. She began experiencing pain in her neck and numbness in her upper left arm, and was unable to perform up to par during live events.

Fujii visited the doctor and received an MRI that revealed that her 4th and 5th cervical vertebrae had herniated, causing her pain and numbness by pinch nerves in her spine. The signer's health care providers are still working on treating the condition.

Although she is not able to perform with the group live, Fujii intends to continue working in a limited capacity with the group. However, she will not participate in any strenuous physical activities while she is being treated and recovering.
