Superfly To Provide Theme Song For

Superfly will be providing theme song for the 5th season of the "Doctor X" series.

This is the 5th time in a row that Superfly will providing the theme music for the series; however, this will be the first time that 2 songs were provided.

The first new song is titled "Unison". The song expresses the gentleness the main character Daimon Michiko displays with his patients, such as putting his hand on their should to comfort them.

The second song is an orchestra version of the Superfly's 2012 song "Force". The original version of the song was used as the series' first theme song. The new version is describe as having a more magnificent arrangement.

"I am full of gratitude that I've been placed in charge of [the drama's] theme song 5 consecutive times...Since the first time, we've participate in a way so that music of Superfly changed and evolved in a way fitting with the way Daimon Michiko has changed and evolved. This time, I'm surprised with how amazing the work is, and am looking forward to seeing how it fits in with the series," Superfly said.

Although a release date for the new songs as a single was not immediately revealed, it is expected that the songs will become the singer's new single.

The 5th season of "Doctor X" will begin airing on TV Asahi on October 12.
