NHK announced that the anime series "Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card" will debut on 7 January 2018 by NHK BS Premium.
It will have practically the same team as the original series, with Morio Asaka (director) and Nanase Okawa (writer). The animation will be by Madhouse, who was also responsible for the original series of Sakura, and also nana, Gungrave, Tenjo Tenge, No Game No Life, One Punch Man, Death Note among others.
