Dream5 To Disband At End Of Year

Dream5 made a sudden announcement that the group will be disbanding at the end of the year.

The group made its announcement through its official website, stating that the members will end their activities on December 31, 2016.

A reason for the group's sudden disbandment was not given. The group's members will be focusing on their own individual goals following the disbandment.

Dream5 was formed in 2009 as a 5-member idol group through the NHK variety show "Tensai TV-kun MAX". In March of 2016, Momona Tamakawa, a member of the group since its formation, left the group due to self esteem issue.
