Perfume Sets Release Date For "TOKYO GIRL"

Perfume has settled on a release date for its next single "TOKYO GIRL": February 15.

The group first announced its upcoming single last week when it was revealed that the trio would be providing the theme song for the NTV drama series "Tokyo Tarareba Musume". The song was written specifically for the series and expressed the struggles with love and work that the drama's characters experience.

2 versions of the single will be available upon release: a CD-only Normal Edition and a CD DVD Limited Edition. The bonus DVD will come with the music video for "TOKYO GIRL".

People who pre-order "TOKYO GIRL" will be eligible to receive a special gift. The pre-order bonus will be revealed at a later date.

"Tokyo Tarareba Musume" is a romantic comedy based on the manga series by the same name. It will begin airing on January 18.
