AKB48 Tops Oricon Year End Singles Chart For 6th Consecutive Year

Oricon has released its year end singles chart, revealing that AKB48's "Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai" was the year's best selling single.

AKB48 has dominated the singles chart this year. The 4 singles released by the group this year were the 4 best selling singles of 2015.

This is the 6th year in a row that AKB48 has topped the year end singles chart. The group first began its chart dominance in 2010 when "Beginner" became the year's best selling single.

Also performing well on the year end singles chart was Nogizaka46. All 3 of its singles were included in the top 10.
