Shun Oguri to Play as the Protagonist in the Live Action Adaptation of Manga "Museum"

Adding to his long list of portrayals in live action films, Shun Oguri
is set to play the lead role in the live action version of Ryosuke Tomoe
's original suspense horror manga "Museum
". The story revolves around a man in frog mask who has been doing a series of shocking murders. This is where detective 'Hisashi Sawamura
' (Oguri) comes in to lead the investigation, but he later finds out that his wife is one of the killer's target victims. Detective Sawamura is under the Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Section 1.
Director Keishi Otomo
, who directed the successful Rurouni Kenshin
live action films, will be directing the movie and principal photography for the film started in November 8. "Museum" is slated to open in theaters next year.
This is not the first time Oguri will be playing as a detective. He starred in two Detective Conan live action tanpatsu or specials, which aired in 2006 and 2007, as Shinichi Kudo
and this is one of his many notable portrayals.
