GOT7's Jackson sprained his ankle while shooting sports variety program "Dream Team".
The injury occurred on September 19 according to a representative for JYP Entertainment. The idol was sent to the hospital for treatment and has been put in a cast for 1 1/2 weeks.
"Fortunately, the injury wasn't severe...He is still scheduled to appear on ‘Inkigayo’ since he will be okay standing. However, he will be absent for the ‘Hallyu Dream Concert’ stage," the company stated.
Jackson's injury comes as GOT7 prepares to release its new album "MAD" On September 29. The singer is expected to have his cast removed before then.
