Momoiro Clover Z's Reni Takagi Fractures Left Hand, 4 Month Recovery Expected

Momoiro Clover Z member Reni Takagi has fractured her left hand after falling during practice.

Takagi's injury was announced through the group's official website on July 16. The group was rehearsing for its summer live Toujinsai Festival when the idol fell.

Doctors diagnosed Takagi with a fracture to the distal radius. It was estimated that she would need 4 months before making a full recovery.

"Everyone, I am truly sorry for this inconvenience. Right now I am doing my best to quickly be healed, so please continue your support," the idol said when her injury was announced.

Takagi's scheduled TV appearance has been cancelled. Her live appearance at the end of the month will go on as planned.
