Following the report 3 months ago that Mr.Children has penned a new song for the movie "Seiten no Hekireki", it was revealed recently that "Hanatareru" will have a digital release on the same day the movie will premiere at theaters across Japan on May 24th.
On the said date, fans can download the single via iTunes Store, Recochoku, OORONG-SHA MOBILE+ and other online music distributing sites.
Mr.Children's last release prior to "Hanatareru" was in also in May of last year. Said release is the song "REM" whose rocking pagan-inspired pv can be viewed here.
