BoA's new movie "
Make Your Move" has performed abysmally at the box office as the film fails to find an audience.
In the US box office, the movie has made $117,633 USD since opening on April 17 until April 24. The film ranked 38th over the weekend in terms of its box office performance.
In South Korea, where BoA is an A-list celebrity, the film has performed even worse. Over the course of 10 days, only 57 people have gone to theaters to watch the film.
The movie's poor performance in South Korea is due largely in part to the Sewol ferry incident that has left the nation in deep state of mourning. Internationally, the film's low profile and limited release has inhibited it from performing well.
