L'Arc~en~Ciel, Perfume, et al to Bid National Stadium Sayonara on Special Live

Just a few months after rocking the National Stadium for 2 days, L’Arc~en~Ciel head back to the sacred landmark to a cap a 2-day festival also featuring the likes of Perfume AND MAN WITH A MISSION. The event, called Sayonara National Stadium Final Week Japan Night, will be held from May 28 to 29 and would serve as the final send-off to the stadium before it undergoes renovation in preparation for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.

Festival Day 1 is called “Yell for Japan”. Performers include funky Kato, Ukasukaji (Sakurai Kazutoshi & GAKU-MC), Gospellers and many more. Serving as musical director is Seiji Kameda of Tokyo Jihen fame. Another highlight of this event is the formation of the Yell for Japan special band with Seiji Kameda on bass, Tamada Toyoyume on drums, Hirokazu Ogura on guitars plus many more talented musicians Japan has to offer.

Festival Day 2’s “Japan to the World” showcases the performance from jrock heavyweights L’Arc~en~Ciel. Sharing the momentous stage are Perfume, SEKAI NO OWARI and MAN WITH A MISSION. This event highlights artists who have gained or are gaining an intense following worldwide.
