Mayday To Sing Theme Song For Fuji TV's New Drama
Taiwanese alternative rock band Mayday was chosen to sing the theme song of upcoming Fuji TV drama "Bitter Blood". It was in late January when it was announced that actor Takeru Sato will be playing the lead role.

It will be the Taiwanese band's first time to emerge themselves in singing a song for a Japanese drama. Being a big fan of Mr. Children, a popular Japanese pop/rock band, they approached music producer, Takeshi Kobayashi to write the TV series' theme song. Kobayashi is known to be the one behind Mr. Children's hit songs and it is also his first time to write a song for a foreign band.

"Do You Ever Shine?" is the title of the song and it was written entirely in English. But Kobayashi also wrote its Japanese version, which will be released this summer.

The drama will also star Shiori Kutsuna as revealed a few weeks ago. Beginning on April 15th, "Bitter Blood" will air every Tuesdays at 9PM.
