Perfume Chosen To Sing Theme Song For Upcoming NHK Drama Starring Kyoko Fukada
Japanese pop trio Perfume was chosen to sing the theme song for NHK's new drama "Silent Poor" starring Kyoko Fukada. The song is titled "Hold Your Hand", especially written by Nakata Yasutaka for the drama.

The 31-year old actress will be playing as a community social worker, who lends her hand to people going through tough times because of problems arising in the society today. The song gives a light and happy vibe to the heavy plot of the TV series and Fukada herself commented that the lyrics of the song perfectly fits the drama.

Perfume even stated their wish of having Fukada sing the song with them if ever given a chance. Catch the drama as it airs every Tuesdays starting on April 8th at 10PM (JST).
