Kazuya Kamenashi & Koji Tamaki's Single Ranked First In Oricon Single Chart

It has been announced before that KAT-TUN member Kazuya Kamenashi will be pairing up with Anzen Chitai's Koji Tamaki to form a unit called "Hottake BAND" for the NTV drama "Tokyo Band Wagon: Shitamachi Daikazoku Monogatari" where both actors star in.
Now, the duo's single "Sayonara☆Arigatou", which hit stores last November 6th, topped Oricon's weekly ranking selling over 82,000 copies in its first week of release.
Although the unit is a limited pairing and is just for the said drama, it can be said that Kamenashi pulls off such team up as it can be remembered 8 years ago when he and then-NEWS member Tomohisa Yamashita also formed a unit "Shuji to Akira" for another NTV drama "Nobuta no Produce" where the single "Seishun Amigo" also became a hit.
