Meisa Kuroki To Play As A Female Samurai In The Stage Play
Meisa Kuroki was revealed to be taking the lead character in the historical stage play "Tomoe Gozen". Kuroki continues to be given fierce roles as she will be portraying the brave and strong "Iron Lady" named 'Chaoyang'.

The play will be about 'Chaoyang' having saved a baby's life during a fire, has put a good impression on 'Kiso Yoshinaka' and gained his trust and eventually naming her "Tomoe" which means a 'woman warrior'. During these times, Chaoyang got the chance to learn martial arts. The story will also involve a clash between Genjis (clans).

Starring alongside Kuroki are Tokuma Nishioka and Koji Matoba. The stage play will start showing on August 4 until August 25 at the Meijiza Theater.
