In a surprising announcement just released on AISENSHI's Facebook page, vocalist KAMIJO from Versailles will sing in the chorus for AISENSHI's debut album "HEARTSTRINGS"which will go on sale on June 5th, 2013.
You may be more familiar with the band name ANIMETAL, a Japanese heavy metal band who specialized in metal covers of theme songs from classic and modern Japanese anime and tokusatsu television series. Since 2006, the band is currently on indefinite hiatus. Vocalist Eizo Sakamoto had begun a similar project called Eizo Japan, but in 2013 he announced that he and guitarist She-Ja were reforming Animetal as AISENSHI, named after the soul of ANIMETAL, which stands for melancholy tune and samurai.
AISENSHI has also stated that the new album tracklist will be up soon. Look forward to it!
