MTV Japan revealed today that BENI, Miho Fukuhara and Miliyah Kato x Shota Shimizu will be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2013, joining previously announced performers Carly Rae Jepsen, Imagine Dragons and Kana Nishino in the star-studded event.

In addition to the previously mentioned artists, American girl group TLC will be making a special appearance and performance at the MTV VMAJ 2013. The group is one of the best selling groups of all time, having several #1 singles and over 65 million albums sold worldwide. Their success will be honored with a special "Legend Award", an honor that hasn't been given out since Michael Jackson won one in 2006.

Popular boy band EXILE will be making a video appearance at the awards show with a taped performance.

The 12th annual MTV VMAJ 2013 will take place at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture on Saturday, June 22. The show will premiere on MTV Japan on Sunday, June 23 at 8PM (Tokyo), and will be broadcast worldwide on MTV channels at a later date. Nobuaki Kaneko and former AKB48 member Atsuko Maeda will be hosting the show.
