SMAP's New Song
Popular JE group SMAP will be providing the theme song for member, Shingo Katori's new drama "Kasuka na Kanojo". The song's title "Joy!!" is said to match the theme of the drama after the staff and SMAP themselves agreed to it.

The drama's lead actor Katori said, “From the first time I heard it, I thought that it was perfect for this drama that is set at a school. I think it’s a song that allows not only one person, but everyone to take a step forward with the magic words, ‘Joy!! Joy!!’.”

"Joy!!" was written by Akai Kouen’s Maisa Tsuno and arranged by Yoko Kano. While Johnny's Jr. members Shintaro Morimoto, Yuta Jinguji, and Genki Iwahashi contributed to the song's chorus. The three juniors also stars in the drama itself alongside Anne, Atsuko Maeda and Kis-My-Ft2’s Hiromitsu Kitayama.

In the drama, Katori takes on the role of a junior high school teacher. "Kasuka no Kanojo" will begin airing on April 9 at 10PM on Fuji TV.
