Esprit D'Air are hard rock band from the UK, highly influenced by the musical subcultures of both Japanese and Western rock. Their sound is unique and fresh in its ability to fuse hard-hitting aggression with melodic interludes and blistering guitar solos.
Based in London, Esprit D'Air are right in the heart of the current UK “J-rock” revival scene and have quickly garnered a cult following with their charismatic performances reminiscent of a young X Japan, and a style that can only be described as: “Shibuya meets Sunset Strip”!
Since forming in 2010, the band have already performed to fans at numerous events in London and Spain, been interviewed for the popular Japanese website, Nico Nico Douga, and are now gearing up to release their latest single “The Hunter” with a headline show and single launch party at London’s Nambucca on March 16th.
Esprit D’Air’s transcultural appeal has allowed them to lyrically experiment with both Japanese and English songwriting and, as a result, provide rock fans with something new and different within the current live music scene.
