D'espairsRay is a Japanese rock band formed in 1999 by Hizumi, Karyu, Zero and Tsukasa. The lineup has since remained the same and as of April 2009, the group has released several singles and EPs, as well as three full-length albums. Besides Japan, D'espairsRay have also toured Europe and North Amer

D'espairsRay is a Japanese rock band formed in 1999 by Hizumi, Karyu, Zero and Tsukasa. The lineup has since remained the same and as of April 2009, the group has released several singles and EPs, as well as three full-length albums. Besides Japan, D'espairsRay have also toured Europe and North America in recent years, along with domestic releases in these territories. D'espairsRay marked their 10 year anniversary with their major debut under UNIVERSAL Music Group/Delicious Deli Records, doing their largest nation wide tour in Japan. In July 2009 they toured in Europe, their first European Tour since 2006.

D'espairsRay disbanded on June 15th, 2011.
