    I can't believe this... first Ayumi's hearing loss aggravated and now Namie wanting to retire... J-Pop will definitely not be the same without them both, and they are still SO young!

    I agree. I'm not their biggest fan at all, but their influence was definitely massive. They along with a few others were the definition of J-Pop, IMO.
