BOYSTORY is a 6 member boy idol group from China and is under NCC Station Entertainment (JYP Entertainment's China branch). Its members are all under the age of 13 years old. The young age of the members is most likely due to the popularity and success of similar young idol groups such as TFBoys and YHBoys.
The boys debuted with the song "How Old R U" on August 31, 2017 (which was in Korean). A few days later, the boys dropped the Chinese version of the song.
The group was met with much controversy with the Kpop fan community due to the young ages of the members. Most said that they are too young and were questioning the legality (child labor laws) and their schooling.
