Day6, often stylized as DAY6, is a South Korean rock band formed by JYP Entertainment. The band debuted with a total of six members: Sungjin, Jae, Young K, Junhyeok, Wonpil, and Dowoon. The group debuted with a mini album, The Day, on September 7, 2015. Member Junhyeok left the year after due to being caught in a scandal where he was suspected of having romantic relations with a fan. The band would go on with five members. The song Letting Go, a track off the album Daydream, which was released the year he left, was said to have symbolic imagery to the former keyboardist.
The band would finally have their Japanese debut in 2018 with If ~ また逢えたら ~ (If ~ mata aetara ~; If ~ we meet again ~) which was used as the theme for Repeat: 10 Years that Changes Fate and which aired on NTV and YTV and based on the 2004 novel.
