I'm so tired! Work was horrible....well, it's time to start my evening with Tokyo Friends! Haven't watched that series in a while 
hi..um i read your "things i dislike" section and i see that you dislike YUI. i feel like i need to write you or more like defend YUI and her music. she's one of my favorite singers.
anyway, i was like you. i hated her more than anything because i always read her name everywhere and people made so much fuss over her. she also looked a bit arrogant on her album covers. so one day i just downloaded a bunch of her songs to see what the big deal was. the first song i heard from her immediately made me fall in love with her music. the song is called tokyo. its a ballad soft slow song with inspirational lyrics. she wrote it when she left home for tokyo to start her musical career. she writes, and composes her own music and she's also multi- instrumentalist.
her music ranges from soft ballads to rock. i don't think you have a problem with soft ballads cause i read that you like ai otsuka and every little thing. (jaja! i feel like a stalker) i love them both so much, btw. its something about YUI that makes you love her so much, her voice, music, lyrics and her personality as well.
so idk if you've heard her music at all and i won't tell you to listen to her either. i just felt like i needed to do this. ' ok i won't keep on writing anymore cause its already long and you might hate it. jeje!

Ha! I'm glad I received my first wall post!!
Well what I've heard from YUI are just a few single songs and those haven't impressed me. The problem is that her songs lack a catchy tune...and I'm not sure I'm impressed with her vocal talents either, but there is something I should do and that is to listen to a whole album! I haven't listened to any of her albums and I heard many like "I LOVED YESTERDAY". I should really find out more about her and find what it is about her!
For other artists I've found something that has caught my attention and YUI has gaught it only 'cuz she's always there in the headlines and releasing countless of albums and singles.
But I'm glad you sent me a message! I shall find out what it is about her that makes her so popular
hm maybe its not catchy type because its not pop- ish like ayumi hamasaki. don't get me wrong i like ayumi. you don't think YUI sings good?! well she doesn't have a powerful voice like others but her voice is sweet and unique. she's also one of those singers that sound good live. idk how to explain it though. but yeah you gotta listen to all of her albums.
