I like mostly Japanese artists (its some kind of hobby of mine?) and my overall taste goes through all kinds of genres safe enka, ballad-heavy singers or too experimental stuff (noisecore wtf!).
Yet I have to admit that I'm rather drawn to the rock side of life with plenty of love for crossover and alternative bands as well as some older shit.
A rough, general artist list for reference:
10-feet - age of punk - anarchy - the arctic monkeys - asian kung-fu generation - balzac - the birthday - buck-tick - bug - bull zeichen 88 - chirolyn and the angels - craze - the cult - danko jones - devin townsend - dj kentaro - dj krush - doping panda - dustar-3 - ellegarden - everset - fake? - foo fighters - glay - glenn hughes - guano apes - the inazuma sentai - inoran - j - kasabian - kemuri - the kooks - kyo - the libertines - lucy - m-flo - the mad capsule markets - maximum the hormone - monkey majik - oblivion dust - papa roach - pay money to my pain - the pees - pendulum - the pillows - the predators - radio caroline - sex pistols - slipknot - social distortion - the stalin - test-no. - thee michelle gun elephant - tokyo ska paradise orchestra - uzumaki - yamaarashi - zigzo - zi:kill
I'm not very fond of the 'visual kei' aspect over there unless it's about the first generation (say: roughly pre-2000, Luna Sea, By-Sexual, etc.), so please look for somebody else to talk about that. I'll never enjoy listening to Dir en grey :RBsealed:
I usually end up hanging out at some friend's place in the afternoon for movies, coffee, some gaming and chatting here and there. Going out and a party now and then's a must, too ![]()
The little time that's left then is used for random web browsing, instant messaging to see if my buddies living further away are still alive and well, reading feeds, cooking something delicious or reading up on some literature regarding IT stuff - all while listening to music constantly
Longer breaks and holidays are usually spent travelling, either to aforementioned friends or somewhere outside the country if possible :RBheart:
Dogma, Equilibrium, Batman Begins & Dark Knight, Mononoke-hime, Lord of the Rings, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Fearless, Hellboy, Cowboy Bebop, Chihiro, Braindead, Shaun of the Dead, Wall-E
