ah... soshite, ima wa STORY TIME!! ^0^)9
Nee.... finally i can feel what u've experienced with ur nihonjin friends!! xD
well, last monday, i join a class which teaches about japanese cultures. actually it's held by japanese department, but even though i'm from english department, i manage to join them, n they pleasurely accept me n my friend! yatta!! ><
we learned to make orizuru (paper crane), decorate uchiwa (hand fan?), and we do radio taisou (radio gymnastics). besides, we also got some new information about latest news in japan.. the next 5 meetings, we'll also learn n talk about ryouri (cooking), gyarumeiku (make up), nihon no asobi (japanese games) n........... AKB48 (are?? o.O) !!??
the most interesting is that the tutors are all nihonjin!! n actually people there are from jap departmnt so they can communicate with them better than us who haven't mastered japanase... but people there are so kind.. the indonesian people translate the jap words n the japanese speak nihongo to us with understandable words and sometimes if i still don't have any idea, akane-san will say it in english!! hyaaa...... yasashii hitotachi da na~ xD
n not only that, in any activities they show their kindnesses which make me comfort with them... 
well, i think that's enough?? maybe i'll tell u some interesting story which i get from the next meeting which is on thursday
ah, sou ieba... they're from aichi university.. n i think some of them are not from aichi univ, they study in universitas gadjah mada (my univ) instead. but coz they're nihonjin, they want to be a volunteer, to omou~ :))a

thank you, your english is getting better as well... i can almost see no problems, its just that sometimes you just miss one letter or use a similar sounding word but different meaning.. which alot of people even here in Canada do.

i've just read about an indonesian book but it takes place in canada, in quebec exactly... from that book i knew about some quebec's culture, about how kind people there, a little about FRENCH, etc,,
well, i dunno is it the fact or not but this story is half fiction and half true story so i tend to believe the facts there
at last, this book is very great and it shows how great canada/quebec is! magnifique! xD

In fact the only reason I was able to memorize Katakana was because I had seen so many band names written in it that I just related certain letters to them
Yeah freaking kanji is annoying~ But I realized I can learn a group of them in about an hour and retain them long enough for the quizzes so that's useful~ I should really go back and make sure I remember the other kanji though

well, i've found the way to make good rice. I mixed it with vinegar n salt n the rice became a little sticky n salty.. then when i lump it, i bedraggled my with salt water so the surface won't shatter
