Okay...It's been too long since I posted here...but I've been busy.
Anyway, I thought I'd do a journal post about my holiday, seeing as it was pretty epic/amazing/awesome/fabulous/etc...
But...if you do decide to read this, be warned, it's going to be looooooooooooooooonger than that. If you're only interested in one section, I've put the name of the country in bold and underlined it so you can skip the sections you're not interested about. :)

    Okay well firstl...

    Okay well firstly,
    Russia

Flew to Moscow from Heathrow, it took about 4 hours :) So that wasn't too bad.
Spent two nights in Moscow, in a hostel called Godzillas. Compared to the hostels I stayed in later on, It was not a good hostel. However, at the time it didn't seem to bad.
I saw the Kremlin, Red Square, A cool church with an onion top roof :p It was really pretty! Actually, all the churches in Russia were really pretty :)
Finally struggled to find a restaurant in Moscow - they don't advertise the cafes or anything, which makes things a bit tricky. :p Then I had a salad...there wasn't anything else veggie unfortunately, and like everything Russian the salad was covered in dil. :L

Then After the two days in Moscow I got a Taxi to the airport to meet the people I would also be volunteering with. :) (Turns out most of them were people from West Point in the USA)
Everyone eventually arrived from their planes and we met two of the translators who would be helping us while we volunteered. They were really nice ^_^
Then there was a 6 hour bus journey to Yaroslavl, after that I arrived in the place I would be staying for the two weeks called the Home Base.
I spent the two weeks working mainly at a Children's Hospital for children with mental problems (although most of them seemed totally fine) and also at a botanical garden. Some days I would go to a City Camp and work with kids from underpriviledged backgrounds or with the elderly.
^_^ The two weeks were really cool (I even went on a trip to a moose farm - I can now say I've fed a moose :p) The two weeks went really quickly and I really want to do some volunteering again :) If you ever have the chance to do it you should because it's so much better than just a normal holiday and you meet some really amazing people :)
The only downside was that my MP4 Player broke so I had no Kpop to listen to for 2 months :| ngl, it was hard.

Then, after that I caught the trans siberian to Nizhny Novgorod (Spelling? :S) and spent a night in an actual hotel with air conditioning. :| It had been over two weeks in 35 degree heat and we had had no air con at all, so getting to the hotel with air con was like heaven. :p
Spent the day wandering around N. Novgorod, took some pictures, had a really...unpleasant lunch. :/

Then after that, got on the trans siberian again, this time to Irkusk. It was three days on the train, and although that sounds horrible it was actually really nice ^_^ Russia is so pretty ^_^
Arrived in Irkusk and spent two nights there. The hostel where we stayed was really nice, although I did have to trap and humanely release some cockroaches back outside when I found them in my room :p I hate bugs. Eugh. >.<
There was this reeeeally cute puppy at the hostel, who liked to chase butterflies :p And there were loads, so he did a lot of chasing. :p
    I love puppies ^_^ Soooooo cute. :3
Ummm, also there was Lake Baikal near Irkusk, and apparently if you put a hand in, it adds one year to your life, if you put a foot in, it adds five years to your life, and if you swin in it, you get an extra twenty five :o
Although that sounds a bit easy, there was something that made it very tricky to swim in Lake Baikal...it was flippin' freezing! I put my feet in (it was as far as I could go) and my feet started to ache within about five seconds. I have never experienced colder water in my life. My brother and dad went in for a swim. Well...Oscar my brother swam in there on purpose, dad went in and then fell over :p So he gets the extra twenty five years by accident :L
There are pictures that I've taken of my brother just lying on the floor shaking because he's so cold :p I think you have to be very brave to swim in Lake Baikal...I don't think I shall ever do it :p

Well, then after Lake Baikal I got the trans siberian train to Mongolia :)

    Mongolia

I spent four days in total in Mongolia ^_^ But I wish I'd had longer. The countryside in Mongolia is stunning and Ulaanbaatar feels like a really cool place ^_^
I really want to learn Mongolian :p But it's less common than Korean here, so I think I might struggle >.<
Anyway, Saw some museums and did some shopping in Ulaanbaatar ^_^ It was funny wandering around though :p because everyone there would stare at me :L Because I've got really, really long blonde hair, people wern't used to seeing someone like me :p and this one time I was followed by these two little kids for about three blocks :L They were just like :o
    xD
    So cute.
Then, in the countryside of Mongolian I stayed in a Ger for two nights :) I visited some temples and shrines (all of which were on the top of a massive hill -.-) Seriously, by then my feet were absolutely wrecked and black from walking round Russia, and then because Mongolia is so mountainous, I ended up walking up so. Many. Bloody. Stairs. :|
^_^ It was still fun though! Our tour guide Aggy, she was really cool ^_^ She told me she liked Japanese rock music ^_^ She's studying English and she's really good. :) And then there was our driver Baggy xD He was so funny :L He'd play his Mongolian music in the van and sing along really loudly xD He was so happy and always in a good mood ^_^ It made all of us feel happy too ^_^.
I also went horse riding on some Mongolian ponies. That was cool :p And I saw a Yak...and I rode a camel :p So now I've ridden a camel in Europe and Asia :p I need to go to Australia, South America, North America and Africa. Then, I shall have ridden a camel on every continent :p

Then, after the four days in Mongolia (which really wasn't enough, Mongolia is such a fantastic place! If you have the chance to go, you should. It's really worth it and the people in Mongolia are so kind :) )
I got the trans siberian train to China, and arrived in Beijing ^_^

    China

I spent only four days in China :( and unfortunately I was ill for two of those days >.<
I got some food poisoning when I was on the train from Beijing to Shanghai and had to spend the first day in Shanghai in bed T_T
Anyway. While I was in Beijing I stayed in the Chinese Box Hostel which was really nice ^_^ They had the best food! :p
What was really funny/awesome when I was in Beijing was that people kept asking to take my picture :p All these little kids would come up to me and ask me if I would pose with them :L
That was really cool. xD Everyone would just stare at me. :p It was a bit weird at first but they would stop staring if you smiled at them :p
I visited the Great Wall, and climbed up a decent way :p It's so tiring and I got sunstroke T_T It was not going well for me in China :L
But ummm...I also went to the Silk Market and bought myself some shorts ^_^ Bright yellow. I love haggling xD It's so much fun :D
In Shanghai it was so hot and I felt so ill, I honestly couldn't do anything. T_T It got to 40 degrees and I just wanted to lie down on the street and die. :p
When I was going from Beijing to Shanghai I felt so terrible and feverish :( I thought I was going to faint on the train but luckily this really, really kind Chinese man gave me his seat. That was one thing that was so nice about all the places I went to; everyone was just so kind, and it made such a difference. :) Obviously you had the odd person (strangely enough they were all in Japan!) who would go out of their way to be unhelpful. But whatever. You get people like that everywhere and when everyone else was so nice, it didn't matter :)
I pretty much just hopped from one air conditioned shop to another, trying to keep to the shade.
Then, after the four days in China I caught a two hour flight from Shanghai to Osaka, Kansai National Airport. :)

    Japan

Okay, well I was expecting Japan to be completely amazing and although it was soooooo expensive it was everything I'd hoped it would be :)
Everyone was really kind and helped me when I got lost or couldn't find my hostel/Ryokan :p
Also, when I spoke to people in Japanese they would get really happy and would go out of their way to help me :p
I spent three weeks in Japan xD And by then my rucksack weighed a horrible 15kg! It was soo heavy and painful to carry :(
Anyway, because I visited so many places in Japan I'll put the names of the places so it's less confusing :p

Oosaka: I went to the aquarium ^_^ It was very busy and people in Japan would stare more out of the people in China and Mongolia put together :L
The Osaka aquarium was a bit too busy to be honest, but the sharks were really cool (and the sea crabs) so it was a nice day out :)
    Spent two nights in Osaka.

    Miyajima
I visited Miyajima island next, which was soo awesome! The deer on that island were so tame :o You could go up and stroke them xD Soooo cute!
I also climbed to the very top of the mountain...that was hard and because Japan was so hot I got really sweaty and gross :p Actually, that was pretty much how I was for most of Japan >.<
Luckily, everywhere had air con. ...Just not the mountains :p They were a bit warmer. Spent one night in Miyajima.

    Hiroshima
After Miyajima I headed towards Hiroshima (all these travelling was done on the shinkansen)
I spent three nights in Hiroshima, and it was such a nice place. :)
I visited the peace museum. That was...overwhelmingly sad. Some of the exibitions about mothers who had found nothing left of their children but bits of their lunchbox or school uniform. It was so heartbreaking. :'(
Then, after the peace museum we went out to get some lunch and on the way we were asked by these three Japanese people in business suits if we could answer some questions and stuff.
So we told them we were English and that we had come to Japan as tourists and for me to practice my Japanese. ^_^ Then they taught us how to make paper cranes. :) And then the ones we made were hung up with all the other paper cranes people had made. ^_^ It was really sweet and lovely how everyone made the paper cranes in a plight to try and stop the building of nuclear weapons. :) And I wish countries would get rid of their weapons but the problem is, the countries with nuclear weapons would use theirs against the countries that didn't...it's just not going to happen :(

    Okayama
After Hiroshima I went to Okayama. :) I loved Okayama. It had a really chilled out, relaxed vibe which you don't really find in Japan. I ended up having a conversation with a waiter and waitress who found out I studied Japanese :p It made me wish I knew more, because the conversations on my side were pretty basic :p But at least they understood me xD
...Plus the waiter was reeeally cute so I was happy xD
Also, while I was in Okayama I was invited by this Hip Hop singer to come to his show the next night. I really wanted to go, but unfortunately we only had one night in Okayama and I was moving on to Nagasaki the next day. :(
I also visited Okayama castle, which was a nice day out :p

    Nagasaki
Nagasaki was a pretty nice place :) The peace musem wasn't as good as Hiroshima's and instead of sad it made me feel a bit angry. They had people who had been prisoners of war during when the bomb had hit - some of them Austrialians, Americans and English people. (Also some Koreans who had been forced to ocme over and help with the war) All the people said that when the bomb hit, all the people who wern't Japanese were pretty much ignored and left to die. That made me feel really cross. I just think it's so horrible that even when things got so bad, with people dying in so much pain, there were still people who refused to help the injured simply because of their race. -.-
I spent 2 nights in Nagasaki.

    Kyouto
I spent three nights in Kyouto. It was a very pretty place, although I felt all the Buddhist temples I visited were trying to make money out of me. :p
I also saw a Geisha while I was getting the train :p That was really cool! She looked sooo amazing xD
And, talking of the station, Kyouto station was just really...wow. It was just like a massive shopping mall. xD So many desinger department stores and food courts. :p
I had a day off when I was in Kyouto. xD After a week and a half of going out every single day with no rest I ended up feeling soooo tired. :p So I spent a day just relaxing and getting my strength back. :)
After that I spent a day with my bus pass gojng round all the shrines in Kyouto :p It was actually a really tough day mostly because there was so much walking up steps and stuff.
I also went to an oriental garden which was stunning. <3 Although I must admit I think plants look prettier when they're wild, like natural beauty, the Japanese gardens were still really cool. :)

    Nagano
Spent one night in Nagano. ^_^ We arrived quite late in the afternoon too, so there was only really time for one temple visit. xP
For dinner that night we had Hawaiin (er...is that right?) burgers. :p That was really nice. :) I had an advacado burger! I hadn't had advacado in so long so I was super happy xD
And then while we were in the restaurant, it started raining really, really hard! Now, for the entire holiday I hadn't seen any rain at all! It had just been hot and sunny. So suddenly seeing all this really heavy rain was like :o omg.
    :P
Luckily it eventually stopped and we were able to run back to our Ryokan xD

    Matsumoto
Matsumoto was a pretty cool place xD I only stayed there for a night, visited the castle which had a lot of very steep steps D:
Matsumoto was a pretty cool place but other than the castle there wasn't too much to do, and the next day I got a train and then a bus to Magome.

    Magome
Magome was a really small village/town that was, annoyingly right on the top of a hill. There was also no where to eat other than our Ryokan - which was really expensive. :/
Plus, they gave me fish and raw beef. :/ Now I'm not a fussy person, but I'm a vegeetarian and I did tell them beforehand that I don't eat meat T_T So I pretty much ate the salad on the side of the fish. :p
After that interesting evening, the next morning (without breakfast and in heels) I walked from Magome to Tsumago. It was a nice walk and at the end I got ice cream xD
Then, after getting to Tsumago I got the train to Nagoya.

    Nagoya
I spent one night in Nagoya, just as a stop off point before Tokyou.
It was a fairly nice place, and I'm sure had interesting things to go and see, but I was too tired and just wanted to sleep. xD

    Tokyou
I spent four nights in Tokyou. It was a fantastic city ^_^ I'd definitely love to go back :D
I went to Harajuku, which was absolutely amazing! I spent over £400 on shopping xD
But it was totally worth it as now I've got lots of cool Japanese clothes. :]
(And shoes. Lots of shoes xD)
Ummmm...I also went to Akihabara which was okay. Not as good as I thought it would be, bit mainly because it was so expensive. If I were to come back to Tokyou it would be for the shopping in Harajuku. xD I also had a look at trying to find myself a Keisuke Honda T-shirt (because he's awesome :D :D :D ) But they were charging the equivilant of £145! So I decided I'd order it off the itnernet for like, a quarter of the price. :p
I also bought myself a bag for college ^_^ It's a black bag in the shape of a cat. :p They had hello kitty versions of it, but they were about £40 more expensive, so I went for the (actually nicer) cheaper option. ^_^
Then, after my four days in Tokyou, I caught a flight from Narita to Heathrow, and finally, after two months I got home. xD

    Wow...So that's it xD
This is...very long :/ There is more detail I could have put in, but it would probably have taken you two months to get through it!
If you have managed to read this far, congratulations on your high attention spans :p

Thanks for taking your time to read this. :)
If you want to talk to me or ask any questions feel free :D

But, on to more exciting things :D
I've decided to write a letter to the Ambassador of Japan (to the UK) and ask him if I can have some work experience. I don't know if I'll get any, but it's worth a try. I've done work experience in Parliament before, so maybe I can use that to help me :D
I'd love to be an ambassador once I've finished university and college. I think it would be such a fun thing to do. ^^
I've also written a letter to the South Korean Ambassador too, for the same reasons above. :p I reeeeally hope this works out for me, I think I'd have so much fun and it would be so interesting!

Anddddd :D In just 7 days time I shall be heading off to Russia :D
I am sooooo looking forward to it :)
I'm going to be volunteering in Yaroslavyl which should be a really strange (and hopefully good) experience.
Obviously the bits I'm most looking forward to are when My family and I finally arrive in Japan :D (Gotta get through Mongolia and China first, lol)

      :D I really cannot wait :D :D
I've taken out some money to put on a debit card so when I go shopping in Japan I will have lots of money :p Shopping spree ahoy!
Luckily we've also managed to find a house sitter, so my house won't be empty while I'm away :p Which makes me feel safer XD

      Thanks for reading~~~

Bawwww. England tied with America. Pretty disappointing. Not only that but I'm going to be in an exam during the next South Korean match. ¬¬ Life seems to be conspiring against me.

Bawwww. England tied with America. Pretty disappointing. Not only that but I'm going to be in an exam during the next South Korean match. ¬¬ Life seems to be conspiring against me.

I'm currently taking a break from revising. I've reached that point where it feels like all I've been doing for the past year is revision and exams. I've got six left and three of them are tomorrow. Eeep. I'm really worried about tomorrow :( I have a French writing and Reading test. (Reading I'm not so worried about, but my French is pretty awful and I think the writing exam is gonna be really painful.)
I've also got a geography exam. I'm super stressed about that because so far in every assesment in Geography I've done, I've got 100%. I reeeally wanna do well and not lose any marks, so I can get my A*. Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to happen as I'm struggling to remember all the case studies :(
I mean, they expect us to remember what year the last working coal pit in South Wales closed. (It was 1989, by the way)
But there is just somuch information and I'm worried all the case studies I don't know very well will come up. (because they normally do, because life is spiteful like that.)

Then after Monday, I've got another (much easier) Geography exam on Thursday and I'm done for the week.
Then, I have until Monday, which is when my last two exams are. I have ICT in the morning (which is like the easiest test ever) and then Maths, which is like the hardest thing ever :( I really struggle with maths, everything else I can do, but maths just doesn't compute in my brain. I just need to get a pass so I can drop it and do English/Language based subjects at college. Woo.
The worst part is, I'm trying to revise for things but my bedroom is close to the games room and so I can hear the football in the other room :( I feel like I'm missing out.

I really wish I was in the Philippines right now! U-KISS are doing a concert there and I'd love to go. The worst part is that I keep being reminded of it everytime I go onto facebook or twitter. ¬¬ Lame.

Wow. What a happy post. :/ You can see I'm in a good mood. [/sarcasm]

Thanks for reading, I hope everyone does well in their exams!
My break is now over and I think I shall go back to revising about the London Docklands.
Bet you're jealous! I can tell. It's fun over here! ¬¬

I'm still busy with exams but seeing as I love to procrastinate I thought I'd write something here.

Ohwell. At least I can still watch it on the telly :]

England's first match is against the USA and I think it's gonna be funny how like, every pub in the country is gonna be full XD
I'd love to go to one just because everyone has so much fun, especially when we win! England seems to have pretty good odds...Not as good as Spain or Brazil and to be honest I don't think England will win. *gets shot by England supporters*

I think they're a good team and we have soo many amazing players, but they seem to just fail when they're put together. Despite this, I shall be supporting them throughout all the horribly tense matches and *shudder* the dreaded penalties.

As well as supporting England I shall also be cheering for Spain, South Korea, Japan and Argentia.
          - South Korea and Japan because I love the countries XD
          - Argentina and Spain because I get money of they win! ^_^
          and England for obvious reasons.

I do feel sorry for people who dislike football! You miss out on all the fun :)

Unfortunately, even if England do get to the final (or any of the other teams I'm supprting) I shan't be there to see it. I'm going to be working in Russia with a volounteer program.
^_^ Should still be good though. I am mega looking forward to this holiday. I shall finally get to go to Japan :D :D :D
I've been saving up for aaaages now and I've finally got enough money to go on a killer shopping spree XD
Hello shops in Tokyo ;p I shall introduce you to my money!

          Anyway, thanks for reading ^_^
Good luck to everyone who still has exams and I hope everyone enjoys the Summer!

          Oh and...here's a picture of U-KISS, simply because they're sexy. :D

              Happy New Year everyone :)
Ummm. I am a massive fan of Doctor Who. If you haven't heard of it...Well. It's amazing XD It's the best British Sci-fi programme EVERRR :D I love it muchly.

Anyhoo. The last ever episode with David Tennant was on today! It was so sad T_T :RBcrying: David was such an amazing Doctor and I sure as hell know that everyone will miss him. I was so sure I'd cry while watching the last episode, but I didn't. Instead, I feel like...

I was so sure I'd cry while watching the last episode, but I didn't. Instead, I feel like crying now :RBcrying:

On the flip side, David leaving means we get a brand new Doctor :D The rather wonderful and quirky Matt Smith. Sadly, everyone seems to be dead set against welcoming him. I know he's got a tough act to follow, but he's an amazing actor, he's ADORABLE :RBhalo: :RBblush: and he's mad XD

I am super excited about this! It's soooo sad that David has left, but Matt is so cool. I dunno XD I've got split personalities about this. One part of me is still crying and screaming while not wanting to let go of the David Doctor. :RBangry: The other half is over the moon that we have such a brilliant new Doctor - who is also so young :D
              ~Squeeeeeeeeeeee~ :RBohNo:

But Yeah :D Now I'm going to end because I've rambled on for ages about absolutely nothing other than my brand new obsession XD

David Tennant and Matt Smith foreverrrrrrrr <3

I'm lucky because I get on well with my family, but I know loads of my friends who don't =/
Although some of them can be a bit ungrateful and disrespectful towards their parents which is obviously gonna mean they have slightly less awesome Christmas. :/

Hopefully people who don't get on with their parents will learn that they shouldn't treat their children like that and all will be well :RBhot:

So anyway, here in England we've had quiteabitofsnow. And because of that, it's been kind of scary to go outside. I'm not really an outdoors person...So I've only been out in the snow once and that was only because I was babysitting in my village yesterday and walked there. But basically, the walk was a bit scary because it was dark, icy and I forgot to take a torch :RBfrown:
                  ~Blonde Moment~ XD
The worst part was that the snow covered all the holes in the path...That wasn't funny :RBangry: I got completely soaked and all I did was walk a few hundred meters. :RBfrown:

Although the snow has made a few things more interesting. I live near Basingstoke (Yeah, well I haven't heard of where you live either :RBstickout: ) and they had LOADS of snow which meant people where struggling to get their cars up the hill. This meant that people started to abandon their cars and take the train home, which was fine for them but everyone else behind them became gridlocked.
My dad ended up being stuck in standstill traffic for 4 hours and the journey usually takes him about 20 minutes.
Also, I was talking to the people I babysat for and they were saying they left Festival Place (The shopping center where everyone got stuck) at about 2 in the afternoon and they then got stuck in traffic and didn't get home 'till 1am :RBconfused:
Eurgh. That must have been bad :RBfrown:
I was inside at home though XD So I was fine :RBhot:

Ummmm....Oh Yeah XD I upgraded my account today to a creme account :) Which is cool. 15000 Jpops! :RBconfused: That is quite a lot XD
I feel rich, but not really... :RBundecided:

                  Anyway :)
                  Merry Christmas everyone!

Okay, so it's was the second to last day today, so everyone brought in their secret Santa prezzies, and my friend Sarah got me this awesome book called 'Dirty Japanese' which basically is a book full of Japanese slang. It is totally amazing XD
It's written kind of crudely and there are loads of phrases I wouldn't say in English let alone Japanese. :P
But on the whole it's amazing XD

Omoroi koto = Cool shit (Or just a word to express being interested in something)
No wa dou etchi suru = How about we get it on? XD LULZ
anta yariman ppoi na = You seem like a slut XD
                    Sukebe = Pervert
                    Ashi-fetchi = Person who has a foot fetish :p
Omae maji Mukatsuku = You really piss me off XD

                    So anyway XD
It's probably more a guide of things to say to people if you wanna get beaten up 0_o
(There are some really nasty insults :p)
                    It's all funny though ^_^

                      It's snowinggg! :)

I've only got 2 more days in school and tbh, I'd rather not go.

Ohwellz XD I had fun making it, so that's all that matters. Or...Whatever ;)
Also I dunno how easy it would be to get into town if there is snow everywhere. Because when you live in England and it snows just like a tiny bit you end up with everyone crashing into each other and complete catastrophe. :RBfrown:
Like last year we had about 8cm of snow and the entire country just stopped XD
It was great though because I missed a week of school and could do all the coursework I was behind on ^_^

So Yeah. Just gotta hope it snows, and then I will be like "YAAAAAAAAAY" and all will be well with the world. XD :D
