
fukumimi (福耳) is a collaboration of artists under the management of Office Augusta. Formed in 1998-04-12 the band's original members are Suga Shikao, Yamazaki Masayoshi, and Kyoko. The band made their debut at a performance together at Zepp Sapporo. Their first single was released in 1999 entitled [星のかけらを探しに行こう Again (Hoshi no Kakera wo Sagashi ni Ikou Again)]. The band gained popularity through performances together at various live events, the most popular being Augusta Camp, which is a huge live event for all artists under the management of Office Augusta. Also, included in Fukumimi presently is the amazing rap/hiphop/pop group MICRON' STUFF which features some of the most fashionable, crazy, funny and gorgeous guys on the planet. Yes, this info is provided by me, Kurisu. heheheehe.
he collaborative unit Fukumimi has been chosen to provide the theme song for TV Asahi's broadcasts of this year's summer Koshien tournament. The song, titled "Natsu wa Korekara da!," is being released on July 16 on the "DANCE BABY DANCE" single.
This year marks the 90th instance of the summer baseball tournament, and it also happens to be the 10th anniversary of Fukumimi, which consists of artists signed with Office Augusta. Led by Suga Shikao, Masayoshi Yamazaki, and Kyoko, the group has grown to a total of 16 individuals, including Chitose Hajime, COIL, Sukima Switch, Yuko Araki, Motohiro Hata, Tomoyuki Nagasawa, and MICRON'STUFF.
"Natsu wa Korekara da!" will be used in all of TV Asahi's Koshien-related programming, including the coverage of the tournament itself.
