("Kasa to Shizuku" was coupled with this single.) However, it is rumored that Okamura quit producing MEG after this single due to her attitude. This didn't hinder MEG; she continued to release a string of singles and albums up until the end of the 2004.

In the summer of 2004 MEG started her own fashion brand called "cheryl", all of which was designed by MEG herself. In January 2006 she changed the capitalization of her stagename from "meg" to "MEG".

Her ninth single, "Amai Zeitaku", was the first to be produced by capsule's Nakata Yasutaka. Her next single was also produced by Nakata; it was her first after being signed to Universal Music Japan. MEG's fourth album is due out in December 2007.
