Tegomass (テゴマス, Tegomasu) was originally a temporary unit formed during the hiatus of NEWS from the same label, of which they are both also members of. This duo is formed by Tegoshi Yuya and Masuda Takahisa from Johnny's Entertainment. To date, they have released 4 singles and 1 album: Miso Soup, Kiss~Kaerimichi no Love Song, Ai Ai Gasa, Tanabata Matsuri, and Tegomass no Uta in their respective order.
Tegoshi Yuya:
Born on November 11, 1987. He is usually referred to as Tegoshi, Tesshi, Tego-nyan, or Ero Ouji (XD). His birthplace is Kanagawa, Japan. His blood type is B.
Masuda Takahisa:
Born on July 4th 1986. He is usually referred to as Massu or Masuda-kun even by his juniors. His birthplace is Tokyo, Japan. His blood type is O.
The English version of their first single "Miso Soup" (ミソスープ), was released in Sweden during on 2006.11.15 and the Japanese version on 2006.12.20.
On 2007.05.16, "Kiss~Kaerimichi no Love Song" (キッス～帰り道のラブソング～)was released. The title track was used as the ending theme for the anime "Lovely Complex" while the second track, "Kimi + Boku = Love?" (キミ＋ボク＝ＬＯＶＥ？) was used as the opening theme.
On 2008.06.18, their 3rd single "Ai Ai Gasa" (アイアイ傘) was released. The title track was used as the ending theme of the anime "Neo Angelique Abyss".
A day after the Japanese festival
Tanabata Matsuri (七夕祭り), the duo released their 4th single "Tanabata Matsuri" (七夕祭り) on 2009.07.08.
A week after the release of their 4th single, it was followed up by their first album, making them the first temporary unit i Johnny's Entertainment to do so. Their first album "Tegomass no Uta" (テゴマスのうた) was released on 2009.07.13.
