(Cherry Blossom Moonlit Night)
When the white-misted moon peaks down
When I tire of your hazy features in the glass
I float on distant, remote desires
The fleeting, gentle scene returns to mind.
With a relaxing sway, the cherry blossom petals
Lightly, lightly, alight upon.
The water's surface and spread across my heart.
They slip and turn over.
Once again, I can't return to those days.
Countless seasons are turned away.
How much that burns is lost without disappearing.
I float faintly towards those memories.
But the timbre of weak bells is barely audible.
With a relaxing sway, the cherry blossom petals
Lightly, lightly, alight upon.
The water's surface and spread across my heart.
Once again, I can't return to those days.
Waiting impatiently at you broad back, I cried.
Within your tiny silhouette, we won't meet again.
The sweet scent of spring, fruitless flowers blooming in fields
Snow thaws and sunlight sprinkles through trees.
The time I was tired of waiting for you
If I remember, it becomes painful.
With a relaxing sway, the cherry blossom petals
Lightly, lightly, alight upon.
The water's surface and spread across my heart.
They slip and turn over.
Once again, I can't return to those memories.
