3B Lab was first formed in 2001 and consisted of Okahira Kenji (former band 19), Chiba Takatoshi, and Tamakoshi Masahiro. Because they were 3 people with bloodtype B, they called themselves: 3B Lab.

Becoming more and more popular 2 new members joined the band: Uneoki Shuji and Shoji.

Because their precious name wasn't true anymore they changed the bandname to:

3B LAB.☆ aka 3B Lab.Star aka 3B Lab.s

* Kenji Okahira - vocal/harmonica/guitar
* Chiba Takatoshi - leader/bass
* Tamakoshi Masahiro - drums
* Shuji Uneoki - guitar
