Uematsu passed her adolescence in an environment that was never stable and constantly changed. Her father was strict and eventually her parents divorced and they were in a difficult economic situation where it was difficult to keep up with the expenses. Uematsu's father became increasingly estranged from Uematsu and her mother, who continue to struggle to survive.
At age 15, Uematsu decided to become a singer. Due to her troubled home life, Uematsu was not able to adjust to high school and had a hard time maintaining friendships and eventually she left high school. Though she left behind her school career, Uematsu did not abandon her passion for singing.
She started to create her own music at the age of 20 in the Tokorozawa gals club where she was in the club scene.
